You don’t have to be the biggest, fastest, or strongest player to stand out. But if you’re someone who listens, learns, and applies feedback, you’ll separate yourself quickly. And that doesn’t just come from coaches, you can learn a lot from your teammates too, just by watching how they work, compete, and handle different situations.
I’ve seen talented players hold themselves back because they wouldn’t listen. And I’ve seen players take huge jumps just because they were open to learning.

When a coach gives you feedback, it means they care. It means they believe you can improve.
The players who grow the fastest are the ones who are willing to learn, even when it’s hard to hear.
