The Moment Is Big. Your Belief in Yourself Has to Be Bigger ⚾
Welcome to The Baseball Players Newsletter on Substack. Thanks for being here!
What’s up?!
As May rolls around, there’s been so much incredible baseball and softball to watch. One of my favorite things every year is watching the Junior College and NCAA College World Series.
I love seeing players come off the bench to pinch hit, or pitchers come in for one huge inning and completely change the game. Those moments are pressure packed. The crowd is loud, the stakes are high, and everyone is watching.
It felt really fitting for players, especially in big moments. So maybe this new phrase can be a reminder for you too: Big. Bigger. Best.
The moment is big. My belief in myself is bigger. And I will perform my best.
🔥 Friday Fuel: Big. Bigger. Best.
Big moments happen to everyone.
📋 It looks like this:
✅ Trusting your preparation
✅ Believing in yourself before the result happens
✅ Staying calm under pressure
✅ Wanting the moment instead of fearing it
✅ Competing confidently, even when you’re nervous
The biggest moments in baseball don’t always go to the most talented player.
A lot of times, they go to the player who believes in themselves the most when the pressure gets high.
The moment might be big.
But your belief in yourself has to be bigger.
