What’s up?!
This week was one of the coolest weeks of my life!
Thanks to Mastercard, I got to experience MLBTM All-Star WeekTM from behind the scenes. The best part? I got to surprise my wife with the trip, and we made memories we’ll never forget.
But as awesome as all of that was, something else stuck with me.
The biggest stars in baseball were smiling, laughing, joking with teammates, and soaking in every moment. Even on baseball’s biggest stage, you could tell they still love the game.
It reminded me that baseball is supposed to be fun.

When you’re trying to get better, it’s easy to think baseball is all about getting hits, throwing harder, or making the team. Those things matter, but they’re not the most important part.

Every great player you watched this week started because they loved playing.
The players in the All-Star Game work incredibly hard, but you can still see how much fun they’re having. That’s one of the reasons they’ve stayed in the game for so long.
Work hard. Dream big. But don’t forget to enjoy every practice, every game, and every moment along the way.
