Never Say Never ⚾
Welcome to The Baseball Players Newsletter on Substack. Thanks for being here!
What’s up?!
I’m out here in Omaha enjoying the College World Series, and it’s one of my favorite events in baseball every year!
Watching these teams compete at the highest level is always a great reminder that every player has their own journey. I guarantee there’s more than one player on these teams who, at some point, questioned whether they should keep playing, wondered if they were good enough, or thought about giving up.
But they didn’t.
So if you’re reading this and things haven’t gone your way lately, let this be your reminder to keep showing up, keep working, and keep loving the game.
And if you’re in Omaha and happen to see me, come say what’s up!
🔥 Friday Fuel: Every Player Has a Different Timeline
You never know what can happen when you stay in the game.
📋 It looks like this:
✅ Not giving up after a bad season
✅ Continuing to work when results are slow
✅ Believing in yourself before others do
✅ Staying patient with your development
✅ Keeping big goals, even when they seem far away
A lot of players quit too early.
They decide what they’re capable of before they’ve given themselves enough time to grow.
The truth is, nobody knows exactly how good you can become—not your teammates, not your coaches, and definitely not the kid sitting next to you in the dugout.
The only way to find out is to keep going.
Never say never.
