What’s up?!

As I’ve played, I’ve had a lot of high moments in my career and a lot of low moments. But who you are during the best times and the worst times is the true player you are.

You’re only as good as your worst day.

That’s not to say you shouldn’t celebrate the highs. It just means you need to stay consistent through both. I once heard that the player you can’t tell if they went 0 for 5 or 5 for 5 is the one who wins in the long run.

Staying steady is one of the hardest things to do in baseball.

✅ Same energy after a hit or a strikeout
✅ No big reactions after mistakes
✅ Staying locked in, not emotional
✅ Keeping confidence even when things aren’t going your way
✅ Competing the same, no matter the score

You don’t have to be perfect. Baseball is full of ups and downs. The difference is how you handle them.

The best players don’t get too high or too low. They stay steady, trust their work, and show up the same way every day.
