Be Where Your Feet Are ⚾
Welcome to The Baseball Players Newsletter on Substack. Thanks for being here!
What’s up?!
I just got back from the Omaha College World Series, and I had an absolute blast. One of my favorite parts was getting to meet so many of you in person.
Because of myYouTube channel, I get the amazing opportunity to travel to events like this, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Omaha has been one of my favorite baseball experiences and enjoyed every moment of it.
That got me thinking about a phrase I love:
Be where your feet are.
🔥 Friday Fuel: Be Where Your Feet Are
One of the biggest mistakes players make is spending too much time thinking about the future or worrying about the past.
📋 It looks like this:
✅ Focusing on the next pitch, not the last one
✅ Enjoying today’s game instead of worrying about next season
✅ Being fully present with your teammates
✅ Learning from mistakes without carrying them around
✅ Appreciating the moment you’re in
The players in Omaha aren’t thinking about next year when they’re in the batter’s box.
They’re focused on the next pitch.
The best players have a way of staying present. They don’t get caught up in what happened yesterday or what might happen tomorrow.
They focus on what’s right in front of them.
Be where your feet are.
