Be Crazy Enough to Chase It ⚾
Welcome to The Baseball Players Newsletter on Substack. Thanks for being here!
What’s up?!
I remember telling people I wanted to get drafted someday, and honestly, I’m sure some people thought I was crazy.
At the time, I wasn’t the best player. I wasn’t the biggest, strongest, or most recruited guy around. But even though I understood where I was as a player, I was still crazy enough to believe I could go further.
That’s something I think every player needs.
You have to be honest enough to know where you’re at… but confident enough to believe that doesn’t have to be where you stay.
🔥 Friday Fuel: Be Crazy Enough to Chase It
You have to be honest enough to know where you’re at… but crazy enough to think you can go further.
📋 It looks like this:
✅ Being realistic about what you need to improve
✅ Putting in work instead of making excuses
✅ Believing in yourself before other people do
✅ Chasing big goals without being embarrassed
✅ Staying patient while you grow
Every great player starts somewhere.
Nobody magically becomes great overnight. The players who improve the most are usually the ones willing to dream big while still putting in the daily work to get there.
Don’t be afraid to chase something people think is unrealistic.
